I am happy to welcome you to the 2023-24 school year! We are looking forward to a productive partnership with you to ensure our children can achieve their highest potential. We recognize that to be successful in school, our children need support from both home and school. We know a strong partnership with you will make a significant difference in your child’s education. As partners, we share the responsibility for our children’s success and want you to know that we will do our very best to carry out our responsibilities.
The beginning of a new school year brings with it much excitement and some apprehension about the expectations. The success of FBS is deeply rooted in trusting and supporting relationships between staff, students and parents. FBS main mission is the safety and the well-being of our students, staff and community. We will achieve our goal of creating a caring and safe community by nurturing and supporting one another throughout the upcoming year.
At FBS High Quality Learning takes place when students are continually aware of where they are now in their learning, where they can or need to get to, and most importantly, how best to get there. Students takes responsibility, work independently & collaboratively. They evaluate their own work, reflect on the outcomes, as stimulated and inspired by challenging targets that are understood and achievable. We complement our academic curriculum with our fascinating Co-Curricular Activities. These help our students to be well-rounded and well-grounded. Please ensure that your child/children sign up for a co–curricular activity.
